Hi, my name is Kenn and I am founder and music leader at Grass Roots Music. I teach Electric/Acoustic guitar, Bass and Ukulele as well as Music Theory.
Meet Kaitlyn
Hey! My names Kaitlyn and I am a singer/songwriter in a female fronted band called Komparrison. I’ve been in the music industry since I was only 14 and that’s when I first started going to open mic nights and performing (singing and playing guitar/piano) Becoming a music leader with Grass Roots Music at the start of 2022 has not only let me teach young people all about music but I’d like to say - if I do say so myself - that I get to inspire them to take that leap into the amazing world that is music and show them how life changing it really can be!
Meet Lara
Hi, I’m Lara and I’ve been working with Grass Roots Music since September 2021. I sing and play the piano, guitar and ukulele. I’m also learning to play bass and drums. I love listening to a wide range of music from Chopin to Fleetwood Mac to Diana Ross!
Meet Kerrianne
Hi I am Kerrianne a singer and songwriter who has just started to release my original songs, I also teach dance and recently had a staring role in "Steel & Iron" a musical written by a Middlesbrough writer. I was also on X-Factor in 2014 getting as far as Judges house. I have been working with Grass Roots Music since the beginning love every minute of it.
Meet Si
Hi i'm Si a studio engineer and multi instrumentalist. I teach percussion, guitar, bass and drums and also teach music production.
Meet Ethan
Hi, I'm Ethan and I started with Grass Roots Music in August 2022. I began at My Place, but I now also work at Tuned In. I accompany singers by playing piano for them whilst they practice and perform. I'm currently studying BTEC Level 3 Music.
